Meet the Force Behind Jaskot Law
Jared Jaskot is the force behind the Jaskot Law firm, hailing originally from Killarney, Florida. He began his studies and earned a philosophy degree from the University of North Florida, and then pursued his JD from Georgetown Law.
Between 2002 and 2004, he resided in Canton La Estancia, Moncagua, San Miguel, El Salvador, while serving in the Peace Corps. During his time as a volunteer, he forged a resolute passion for building relationships, exchanging cultures and knowledge, and helping transform lives.
With eleven years of legal experience, Jared commenced his career as a public defender in Baltimore City. After transitioning to private practice as a criminal defense attorney, he noticed a prevalent need among his clients for immigration law assistance, given immigrants’ low crime rates.
During his leisure time, Jared enjoys cooking, strolling his dogs in Patterson Park, immersing himself in fantasy literature, practicing yoga, and developing Legal Chatbots through his other project, YoTengoBot.
